Cambodia My 2nd Home
Official Long-Term Residency & Investment Program of Cambodia
Program Background & Purpose

Cambodia My 2nd Home (CM2H) is an official long-term residency and investment program approved and administered by the Ministry of Interior (MOI) of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in coordination with the General Department of Immigration (GDI).
The program was established to provide a structured, transparent, and legally compliant pathway for qualified foreign nationals who wish to reside in Cambodia on a long-term basis, while contributing to the country’s economic development through investment, business activity, and sustained engagement.
CM2H is not a tourist visa, not a short-term stay arrangement, and not a private residency scheme.
It is a government-recognized program operating within Cambodia’s existing immigration, investment, and regulatory framework.
Policy Objectives of CM2H

The CM2H program supports Cambodia’s national development goals by:
- Attracting financially stable, long-term foreign residents
- Encouraging foreign direct investment (FDI)
- Promoting legitimate business formation and job creation
- Strengthening Cambodia’s position as a regional business and lifestyle hub
The program aligns with Cambodia’s broader economic strategies, including infrastructure development, private sector growth, and international economic integration.
