Cambodia’s Deputy Minister of Commerce, Lim Lork Piseth, recently attended the Belt and Road Summit, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic and commercial cooperation between Cambodia and Hong Kong. He expressed Cambodia’s proactive approach in exploring new markets post-pandemic, highlighting Hong Kong’s unparalleled role as a global financial and trade hub, which plays a crucial part in fostering both regional and international economic collaboration.
Lim pointed out the vast potential for cooperation under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) between Cambodia and Hong Kong, which is set to create numerous business opportunities for companies in both regions.
